M. Christina Benson is an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the Neuropsychiatric Institute. She trained as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar with an interest in gender and leadership. She is a graduate of the Los Angeles Psychoanalytic Institute and a Tavistock trained consultant on group and organizational dynamics. She is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. She has had extensive experience as an educator and received the Nancy Roeske MD Certificate of Excellence for Sustained and Outstanding Contributions to Medical Education. She is currently in clinical practice.
