Martin Iguchi is the Director of the RAND Drug Policy Research Center. His expertise is on alcohol and drug abuse, drug policy, substance abuse, race and the criminal justice system. He received his PhD and MA in Experimental Psychology at Boston University. He completed 2 years of postdoctoral training in drug abuse and behavioral pharmacology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He was formerly associate professor of psychiatry at Allegheny University of the Health Sciences and assistant professor of psychiatry at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University, Division of Addiction Research and Treatment. He is a member of the editorial board for Drug and Alcohol Dependence and an assistant editor for the journal, Addiction.
