Jonathan Necheles, M.D. is a pediatrician and a faculty member at Northwestern University's Children's Memorial Hospital, and a former Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at UCLA. He is building a career at the interface of pediatrics, health services research, and media, with a strong commitment to improving child health through participatory media interventions. He directs one of MMC's main projects on using the technique of photovoice to empower adolescents to become leaders in their communities in addressing health concerns among youth, such as obesity and psychological distress.
