Daniel Page is the assistant director of media relations at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences. He manages news coverage for UCLA Neurosciences and the School of Public Health. In 2002 he received a Gold Award for Excellence in Media Relations & Publicity from Bulldog Reporter, a national public relations organization. Prior to joining UCLA Health Sciences Media Relations in 2000, he was a senior media relations officer for the UCLA campus and spent 15 years as an editor and reporter at the Columbia Missourian, St. Louis Globe-Democrat, and Los Angeles Daily News. He received a BS in Education in 1980 from the University of Missouri and studied journalism as a graduate student at Missouri's prestigious School of Journalism.
