Sarah Starks is a research assistant at the UCLA-NPI Health Services Research Center and the Neuroscience History Archives, and administers the Center on Media and Medicine for Communities. She graduated from Stanford University in 2001 with a degree in Public Policy and a minor in psychology. As an undergraduate she interned with Katie Cadigan at imageReal, performing pre-production research for a documentary on stigma and mental illness.
