The Center has a strong focus on community-based research and has established relationships with multiple key mental health stakeholders, including local and national consumer groups, providers, healthcare practices and plans, purchasers, policymakers and community populations and agencies. Our broad goal is to effectively use research to improve public mental health and mental healthcare delivery in ways that are consistent with the goals, priorities and resources of such diverse stakeholders. We are increasingly focusing on understanding the different perspectives of these stakeholders to design more effective treatment delivery strategies. The Center is dedicated to improving the sustainability and dissemination of interventions for major psychiatric disorders within diverse local practices, community settings and populations.
