LAMP Community
LAMP is a Los Angeles, non-profit organization pioneering a community approach for homeless men and women living with mental illness. Established in 1985, it offers meals, housing, recovery, social services and job training to over 4,000 residents annually. Nationally recognized for its pioneering model, LAMP Community has developed into a safety net for homeless men and women who were formerly isolated and wandering in the margins of Los Angeles County without hope of accessible housing, health and recovery.
