Amanda Nelligan, M.A.
Amanda Nelligan joined the Center in April 2007 as the
Project Manager of Dr. Joel Braslow's National Institutue of Mental Health
Services Act Project. Ms. Nelligan oversees the daily operation and administration
of the study, which includes supervising the postdoctoral research staff,
maintaining IRB compliance, and overseeing all aspects of data collection.
Ms. Nelligan's work at the Center draws upon her diverse background which
includes experience research, psychology and administration. She received
her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Brown University and conducted
neurochemical research at Harvard's New England Primate Research Center.
Ms. Nelligan segued into film production where she developed and produced
several feature film projects before obtaining her Masters in Clinical
Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Ms.
Nelligan is completing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology and plans
to continue research in mental health policy.
