Michael Ong, M.D. Ph.D
Michael Ong, M.D. Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Medicine
in Residence at UCLA. He obtained his M.D. from the University of California,
San Diego and his Ph.D. in Health Services and Policy Analysis from the
University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Ong is a practicing general internist.
His research interests center around the intersection of primary care,
economics, and mental health. Specific interests include depression diagnosis
and treatment, anxiety diagnosis and treatment, physical health of mentally
ill patients, smoking cessation, and psychotropic pharmacoeconomics.
